About Evelyne
I bring Curiosity, Compassion and Intention
My Own Journey
I arrived in the UAE in 1985—back when most people couldn't find it on a map.
As a newly married expat, I experienced something unexpected: profound loneliness. Even surrounded by my husband and children, I felt disconnected and lost. It was confusing and isolating—and it taught me something that shapes my work today.
I understand what it's like to feel alone in a crowd
That early disorientation, the longing for home, the challenge of building meaningful connection in a foreign place—it never left me. Instead, it became the foundation of the empathy I bring to clients navigating similar struggles.
Over the past 40 years, I've watched the UAE transform
My own journey evolved too—personally and professionally. I changed careers, bringing with me everything I'd learned about connection, communication, and what it truly takes to help someone feel seen.
Today, my passion is relationships
Especially romantic ones. They can make you feel on top of the world or utterly miserable, sometimes in the same week.
I've studied relationships from every angle: attachment, trauma, communication, intimacy, conflict. I bring not just professional training, but the hard-won wisdom of my own healing journey.
Here's what I believe
Through personal work, we become who we want to be. When people realise they're the directors of their own lives—that change is within reach—transformation happens.
My Approach
I don't stick to a single method. I draw from extensive training in trauma-informed therapy, somatic practices, and couples therapy—integrating mind, emotions and body.
Real change happens when all three are engaged.
I'm here to help you access your own clarity, compassion and confidence.

What Makes My Work Different
I've lived it. I'm not just a mental health professional who studied expat challenges—I've navigated expat life for over 40 years.
I've done my own work. I bring the wisdom of my personal healing: EFT and Imago workshops with my husband, the Hoffman Process, and years of my own therapy.
I'm a lifelong learner. I'm genuinely committed to excellence and remain in ongoing training and supervision.
I bring energy and curiosity. I'm intuitive, attuned to dynamics, skilled at creating safety for difficult conversations, and able to hold compassion while maintaining hope—even when things are tough.
Beyond The Therapy Room
When I'm not working, you'll find me seeking adventure—trying new (sometimes scary) skills like sailing or skiing. Though honestly, I'm more comfortable on my bicycle.
I love sharing these experiences with my husband, reminiscing about childhood days when all the neighborhood kids would explore fields and woods together.
I'm also passionate about travel—not just visiting my adult children scattered across three continents, but satisfying my curiosity about how people live, capturing beautiful photos, and collecting memories.
If I weren't working with people? I'd probably be a professional photographer and traveler. Or a nomad.
